About Girl Scouts - Heart of Missouri Council
Welcome to Girl Scouts-Heart of Missouri Council! Since
1955, the Heart of Missouri Council has been dedicated to providing a
quality Girl Scouting experience to girls in Mid-Missouri.
Girl Scouts-Heart of Missouri Council is a charter
organization with Girl Scouts of the USA. Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA)
is the world’s
largest organization for girls, of girls, and by girls! Girl Scouting
aims to help Every Girl, Everywhere build character and gain skills for
success in the real world. In an accepting and nurturing environment,
and in partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop strong
values, leadership skills, social conscience, and conviction about their
own potential and self-worth that will serve them all their lives.
