The Girl Scout Fall Product Program is a fun and safe way for Girl Scout
troops to earn money. Girls contact family, relatives and trusted friends
and earn 25 percent of the sale for their troops! Customers have the
benefit of choosing from more than 700 top-selling magazines, a large
variety of books and CD's, and many tempting selections of nuts and candy.
QSP 'Be A Reader' Magazine Subscriptions
In a recent program survey conducted at the Heart of Missouri
Council, girls listed reading as one of their favorite activities. This
makes us proud to participate once again with the literacy component
of the 'Be A Reader' Program. Offered by Reader's Digest, the literacy
component is a series of activities designed to encourage reading and
enforce the importance of literacy. Each troop will receive a special
'Be A Reader' packet that also includes program links to our Girl Scout
Handbooks.
Ashdon Farms Candy and Nut Sale
Ashdon Farms offers many tempting selections of candy and
nuts. Choices in 2007 include Mint Meltaways in a Girl Scout Beginnings tin (a collector's item!), Whole
Cashews, Deluxe Pecan Clusters, Peanut Butter Dreams, Chocolate Covered
Raisins, Salsa Mix, Sugar-Free Chocolate Toffee Bits, and Fat-Free Gummi
Berries, and new Dark Chocolate Pretzels.
